Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 August 2026 · Version 1.0
These terms govern your use of Mini Z and Me. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
Who we are
Mini Z and Me is operated by Mini Z and Me Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17279781, whose registered office is at 181 Walmley Road, Birmingham, B76 1PX. You can contact us about these terms at legal@minizandme.com.
Who can use Mini Z and Me
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or carer of any child whose information you add. The account is for your personal, family use.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the information you add to your account. Tell us promptly at legal@minizandme.com if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.
What you add
You keep ownership of the photos, notes, and recordings you add. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you — for example, to show them back to you, generate a monthly recap, or create a keepsake you ask for. You are responsible for having the right to add any content, including images of, or information about, other people. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
Our content and intellectual property
Everything that makes up Mini Z and Me — including the app itself, its design, and our library of activity ideas and their links to developmental goals — belongs to us or our licensors. While your account is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use this content for your own family use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publish, or build a competing or commercial product from our content, and you may not scrape or systematically extract the activity library.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the service: no unlawful, harmful, or abusive content; no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the app or other users’ data; and no automated scraping. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Subscriptions and payment
Mini Z and Me is a paid membership that unlocks the full app, with a free trial available when you sign up. The membership is billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose, and the current price is shown at the point you subscribe. Payment is handled by the platform where you subscribe: Stripe on our website, Apple if you subscribe in the iOS app, or Google if you subscribe in the Android app.
- Your membership is billed in advance and renews automatically each month or year, depending on your plan, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. If you subscribed on our website, cancel from your account. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in your device's subscription settings. Cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of your current paid period. Except for your cooling-off rights below, or where the law otherwise requires, we do not refund the current period.
- If we change the price or the features of the membership, we will give you reasonable notice before the change takes effect, so you can cancel if you do not wish to continue.
Your right to cancel (cooling-off)
As a consumer, you normally have the right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of starting it and receive a refund, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Because Mini Z and Me gives you access to your paid features straight away, when you subscribe you agree that the service begins immediately. If you then cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period, we may charge you a fair amount for the part of the period you have already had access to, and refund the rest. To cancel within this period, just cancel from your account or email us at legal@minizandme.com. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies, and you can request one from them directly.
AI-generated content
Some activities, transcripts, and recaps are generated with AI and may not always be accurate. They are ideas and keepsakes for play and learning — not professional, medical, or developmental advice. Always use your own judgement and supervise activities, especially anything with a safety note.
Keepsakes and physical products
If we offer physical keepsakes (such as a printed book) in future, separate terms — including different delivery and cancellation rights — will apply to those purchases and will be shown to you at the time.
Changes to the service
We are always improving Mini Z and Me, so we may add, change, or remove features over time. If we make a significant change that affects you, we will give you reasonable notice where we can.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or where we are required to by law. When your account ends, we handle your data as set out in our Privacy Policy — including giving you a reasonable opportunity to export it before it is deleted.
Our liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you started using the service.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If any part of these terms conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights take precedence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change we will let you know and, where appropriate, ask you to agree again. The version and date at the top of this page show when we last updated them.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If a dispute arises, we hope to resolve it with you directly first, so please contact us at legal@minizandme.com. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
